How do I secure my date with Syzygy Entertainment™?

To officially book your date, we require a completed and signed Booking Contract Form along with a 50% non-refundable deposit. Please note that your date is only secured once both the document and proof of payment are received.

When is the final balance due?

Accepted Answer

The remaining 50% balance is strictly due two weeks (14 days) prior to your event date. For corporate clients with 30/60 or 90-day payment policies, please note that an additional administrative fee will apply. Last-minute bookings made within two weeks before the event date require non-refundable full payment to secure the booking. In peak season, and for large events, Syzygy reserves the right to set out specific payment terms for event-specific conditions.

What is your cancellation policy?

The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable as it covers administrative costs and the loss of alternative bookings for that date. Detailed cancellation terms regarding the remaining balance are outlined in our formal Contract Form.

Yes. Syzygy Entertainment™ is a professional, VAT-registered entity. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to ensure peace of mind for both our clients and the venues we work with.

What is your minimum hire time?

All Syzygy Services have a minimum hire time of 3 hours.

How much space is required for a booth setup?

Accepted Answer

For our standard photobooths, we typically require a 3m x 3m flat, level area. Our 360 Video Booth requires similar clearance. All setups must be within 10 meters of a reliable power outlet.

Does the 360 Video Booth come with every photo booth booking?

Yes! As part of our commitment to Ineffable Memories Made, all standard photobooth bookings include a complimentary 360 Video Booth activation.

Will there be someone to assist my guests?

Absolutely. Every booking includes two professional booth attendants who manage the equipment, assist guests with props, and ensure smooth flow.

How do we receive our photos and videos after the event?

All digital media is delivered via a secure, private OneDrive link. Photobooth and 360 content are usually ready within 8 working days; professional photography and videography have a 3–5 week lead time.

Yes. Syzygy backs up all OneDrive files for 5 years.

What is an Audio & Video Guestbook?

Guests pick up a vintage-style telephone and leave a recorded voice or video message. It is a heartfelt way to capture loved ones and can work as a live review or feedback station.

Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Syzygy only takes on a select few wedding-planning clients at a time to protect availability and attention.

What are your travel fees and how are they calculated?

Travel within Gauteng is a flat R750 fee. Outside Gauteng, travel is calculated at R7.00/km to and from the Centurion base. Accommodation is charged if travel duration is 2 hours or more.

Can the booths be set up outdoors?

Yes, provided the ground is level and the booth is under waterproof cover. The Selfie Mirror photobooth specifically cannot be set up outdoors or near direct sunlight.

What happens if I want the booth to run longer on the night?

Overtime can be requested on the night at R1,500/hour, subject to manager approval, team agreement, and no conflict with the logistics schedule.
